This is your opportunity to apply for the Interdisciplinary Summer School “Measuring Natural Illumination” organised by the Daylight Academy (20-24 July 2020). Using Horace Bénédict de Saussure’s cyanometer (1789) for measuring the colour of the sky as a starting point, you will develop an interdisciplinary understanding of measurement and characterisation of light in the natural environment.
This residential summer school combines lectures, practical workshops, an excursion and a student-led research project. The summer school is open to students at all levels, researchers and practitioners from all disciplines interested in measuring natural illumination.
Application deadline: 28 February 2020
