The Daylight Academy (DLA) is delighted to welcome two new members, who were elected at the General Assembly on 28 May 2026.
The newly elected members bring expertise in medical dermatology, art and design theory. They are:
Prof. Helga Schmid, Department of Design, Potsdam University of Applied Sciences, Germany
Prof. Richard Weller, Center for Inflammation Research, University of Edinburgh, United Kingdom
On the occasion of the DLA’s 10th anniversary since it was founded in 2016, the annual meeting also saw the General Assembly re-elect 32 founding members with a further 14 members being designated as DLA Fellows by the Steering Committee.
We would like to thank these founding members for their dedicated contributions over the past decade and look forward to their continued activity within the DLA.
