The DLA Annual Conference 2021 was a great success, thanks to over 80 online participants. It was initially planned as a two-day hybrid event. Sadly, due to a sudden tightening of Covid–related measures in Switzerland, we were forced to held it exclusively online and cancel the face-to-face meeting. The main topic was the ongoing “DLA House” project that aims to develop a virtual and interactive platform showcasing knowledge related to daylight in its diversity of perspectives and interconnections. The platform also aims to promote and facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration within the Academy. And because inspiration comes from the encounter of different viewpoints, a wide variety of speakers shared how they address daylight in their work.
A short conference report is now online, and the videos of the three keynotes are available on the DLA YouTube channel.
Also, the discussion on the “DLA House” project and further topics will be continued at the next Annual Conference, on 13-14 October 2022 at Empa Dübendorf (near Zurich). SAVE THE DATE! Further information will be announced in due time.
