Interdisciplinary Summer School “Measuring Light and Illumination” 2024 – Call for applications
The Daylight Academy is happy to announce that it is organising its second edition of the Interdisciplinary Summer School “Measuring Light and Illumination”!
The residential summer school will take place in Chexbres, Switzerland, from 28 July to 3 August 2024.
Using a variety of cutting-edge techniques, the course will focus on the measurement of light, its spectrum and colour. Methods for quantifying human visual and non-visual responses to light will also be explored.
The summer school is open to applications from students and practitioners across a variety of disciplines – neuroscience, medicine, environmental science, lighting design, architecture and art.
