Laureates of The Daylight Award 2026 to be announced this Saturday

The laureates of The Daylight Award 2026 are set to be announced this Saturday, 16 May, on the occasion of UNESCO’s International Day of Light.

Presented by the Daylight Academy (DLA), the award honours and supports outstanding contributions in the fields of Daylight Research and Daylight in Architecture. The intention is to underline the collaboration of disciplines that are usually considered as separate professional realms of expertise.

The announcement will be made public on The Daylight Award and Daylight Academy’s websites and social media channels.

An official press release will also be issued on the day of the announcement here.

The laureates will be officially honoured at the subsequent The Daylight Award ceremony at 18:00 on 27 May in the Danish Architecture Centre (DAC) in Copenhagen, Denmark.

The ceremony will be livestreamed on The Daylight Award website and Daylight Academy YouTube channel.
