TEC21 pays tribute to daylight

“5777 Kelvin” is the colour temperature of sunlight reaching the earth’s surface, but also the enigmatic title of the last TEC21 issue. TEC21 is the leading technical and scientific journal in German-speaking Switzerland for architects, engineers, builders, and all players in the construction sector. On the occasion of the International Day of Light (16 May), this last edition pays tribute to daylight with two comprehensive articles (in German) based on the Daylight Academy publication “Changing perspectives on daylight: Science, technology, and culture“. The issue has been realised with the support of the Velux Stiftung and looks at daylight in the context of architecture and science.
